Terms and conditions

WHAT WE AGREE UPON WITH EACH OTHER

Article 1 General

1.1 House of Quilts by Janine is a trade name registered with the Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands.
1.2 These general terms and conditions apply to all invoices from and agreements with House of Quilts by Janine
1.3 An appeal by the customer to conditions that do not apply to these general terms and conditions are not accepted by House of Quilts by Janine.
1.4 House of Quilts by Janine reserves the right to change and / or expand these general terms and conditions.
1.5 Goods that are not paid for remain the property of House of Quilts by Janine at all times.
1.6 This is a generic translation from the Dutch Terms and conditions (algemene Leveringsvoorwaarden) in the event of a dispute the Dutch wording prevails.

Article 2 Privacy

2.1 The information you provide will only be used by House of Quilts by Janine. The Privacy Policy is regulated as shown in our Privacy Policy.

Article 3 Prices

3. Unless stated otherwise, all prices of the articles are based per item or per unit. Prices are all inclusive 21% VAT, with the exception of books for which 6% VAT is charged. Prices are in euros and excluding shipping costs.

Article 4 Images and other information

4.1 All images, drawings, information regarding weights, dimensions, colors, etc. are only approximate and cannot give rise to compensation and / or dissolution. Typos and changes are subject to change.

Article 5 Payment

5.1 House of Quilts by Janine does not deliver goods on account.
5.2 Goods will only be sent after your payment has been credited to our account.
5.3 Payments can be made via iDeal, Bancontact or via Paypal
5.4 If House of Quilts by Janine has not received the invoiced amount within 8 days, we will dissolve the agreement.

Article 6 Shipping of goods

6.1 Shipping costs depend on the shipping address country, the size and weight of the items and whether it will be send as letterbox post or parcel post. The rates are based on PostNL tariffs. From time to time shipping costs can be adjusted.
6.2 The delivery time of orders is within a period of 5 working days. This delivery time is an indication.
6.3 The delivery time starts when our client has paid the invoiced amount and this amount has been credited to the account of House of Quilts by Janine.
6.6 In the event House of Quilts by Janine needs additional information from its client to meet the performance of this agreement, the delivery time will commence after such information is made available to House of Quilts by Janine.
6.7 House of Quilts by Janine is not responsible for backorders that have been taken out of production by our suppliers, in such an event we’ll provide a suitable solution.

Artcile 7 Cancelling orders

7.1 Cancelation of orders must be done within 24 hours.
7.2 For disssolution of the agreement, as a result of article 7.1, the client must notify House of Quilts by Janine in writing (by letter or e-mail).

Article 8 Warranties / Returns

8.1 Damage to articles must always be reported by e-mail(info@houseofquilts.nl) within 24 hours after receipt of the order.
8.2 We do our best to pack your parcel as carefully as possible.
8.3 Registration for returning of your product is only possible within 5 days after receipt of your order. This can be done by telephone or e-mail, after which you will receive the return instructions. You must send your product to us within 8 days of receiving the return instructions. The costs for returning are at the expense of the client.
8.4 Excluded from the right of return are discounted articles, tailor-made articles, specially ordered articles and magazines. Books will only be taken back if they are still in the original foil

Article 9 Workshops & Training

9.1 For all workshops and training we set a minimum of 5 participants per event, unless stated otherwise. House of Quilts by Janine reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses in case of insufficient participation.
9.2 After registration for a workshop or training, your participation is only guaranteed after receipt of your payment. In case of a cancellation within 3 weeks before the start of the workshop / training, the tuition fee minus € 7.50 administration costs will be returned to you. In case of cancellations within 7 days before the start of the workshop / training, the full tuition fee will be charged. Naturally, a replacement participant can always be arranged.

Article 10 Gift cards

10.1 Gift vouchers are only valid once per person and are valid indefinitely.
10.2 Gift vouchers do not apply to courses, workshops, shipping costs.

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Subject to price changes and typing errors.
